Combining the currency and topicality of a newsstand journal with the rigor and production values of a book, A—D publishes four themed issues each year, curated by the A—D team and guest-editors.

As of 2026, A—D has a new identity. Now circulating from New York under the editorial direction of Ashley Simone and the creative direction of Siena Scarff. Our new identity and format pair an inventive visual strategy and refined materiality with in-depth discourse committed to probing spatial cultures of cities and regions worldwide.
